Sam McQuillan is a Vice President of Investments at Boylston Properties, spearheading the company’s evaluation of new investment opportunities as well as strategic asset management and capital markets decisions for BP’s existing portfolio.
Prior to joining Boylston Properties, Sam spent three years on Jamestown’s acquisitions team, leading the company’s investing efforts in Boston and assisting on acquisitions throughout the United States and Europe. Prior to joining Jamestown, Sam spent three years working for HFF in both their Boston and New York offices, working on debt, investment sales and JV equity deals.
Sam received a B.S. in Political Science and Organizational Change from Northwestern University.
I love the adaptive reuse of buildings, especially in conjunction with more modern architecture. The old arsenal buildings in Watertown and the Innovation & Design Building in the Seaport are two good, local examples.
I’m a big fan of traveling to places that feel more foreign and unusual – I’ve particularly loved trips I’ve taken to Patagonia, Kenya, South Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and India.
